Here's a sneak peak from the book festival. Can you guess the author's identity? (Need a hint? - This author/illustrator has published books about leaves, butterflies, snow and soup, and she lives in Wisconsin!)

I'll post more about our trip later on in the week. We had so much fun!

Lois Ehlert!
Yes, Lois Ehlert! She read aloud from a number of her books and talked a little about her newest book RRRalph that is set for publication next year.
Jealous! It looked like a great festival and I am fascinated by the concept behind the Bookworm Gardens...places to read, Magic Tree House tree house, Charlotte's Web farm...what a delightful idea surrounded by nature. Who was the genius/genia who came up with and funded this.?!?
Oh, the Bookworm Gardens was fantastic. My daughter said The Magic Schoolbus was her favorite. My husband marveled at the Hansel and Gretel administration building. I couldn't believe the number of children's book represented. It truly is a fantasy land.
Wow! What a treat!
