Wordless Wednesday - Day Out With Thomas
One of my son's favorite activities is playing with his set of wooden track and trains. He loves Thomas the Tank Engine so we drove to Union, Illinois this past weekend and attended the Day Out With Thomas Event at the Illinois Railway Museum. Everyone had fun riding the train, even Grandpa and Grandma. And I was surprised at the number of cars and trains on display. We didn't have time to look at them all. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

How fun! What a great event. I love the pics. My 4 year old would be insanely jealous.. he's a huge Thomas fan.
OH my gosh that is almost in my backyard. IS that there all the time or just a special weekend. I would so love to take my boys there. I know they would luv it. MY 2 yr old is screaming CHoo Chooo right now from looking at your pic's

That looks so fun! My son would absolutely love riding Thomas. We took him to a depot in Spencer, NC when we were visiting relatives and he had a ball. We missed Thomas by only a week or two, though!

The boys would think they'd died and gone to Heaven! They love riding the train and riding THOMAS would have pushed them over the edge =)
We love Day Out With Thomas here! We've been twice and will probably make it a habit if we can. :)

When my son saw your photos, he screeched Thomas from across the room. I do love the guy holding his nose in the conductor photo.
