Wordless Wednesday - Chicago trip

A few images from our recent trip to Chicago. We visited the Children's Museum (free on Thursday nights) at Navy Pier and also Shedd Aquarium. The kids especially loved walking along the lake, seeing the city at night and watching the animals in the Fantasea aquatic show at Shedd.

I love Chicago! I haven't been in to the Shedd in a few years though. :(

We were just in Chicago recently too and went to Shedd (some day maybe I'll get a post up about it), but I have to ask... HOW did you get such a GREAT picture of your kids in front of the aquarium? I thought my pics were okay, but WOW, that is a fabulous picture!!

We've been wanting to go to Chicago. Looks like fun!

I got the robot toddler bedding from Target for $15. It included the sheet set too.

I just read this post and have to say that we just got back from Chicago. Loved it and hoping to go back next year. We went the Shedd and what a beautiful place.

I am curious about the pics too mine didn't come out so great.

Thanks all for the comments. Regarding the picture taken inside Shedd I set my digital camera to auto, chose the high ISO setting and turned off the flash (no flash photography allowed inside the building). A high ISO is better for low-light situations like inside the aquarium. I just have a normal PowerShot Canon camera, nothing fancy. The pictures turned out pretty good, but like you said, due to the low light and fast moving fish, it is hard to take a good picture.
