Wordless Wednesday - Worm or Flower?

My daughter never gets squeamish about holding earthworms. She doesn't usually like bugs, but worms are another story. However, one day I dug up a nightcrawler and she refused to hold it. Apparently a worm by another name is not a worm. Come to think of it, the name nightcrawler does sound a bit creepy...

My son refuses to hold any kind of worm. Wonder how long that phase will last? He is perfectly happy touching the pretty apple blossoms, though.

My daughter has never had an issue with any type of creepy crawly, but she also loves her flowers.

Great pictures!

That is too funny! My son would totally go for the worm first...then the flowers....and PICK the flowers

My son will now "squish the bugs" (the grubs). His sister used to do it, but she's squeamish now, so it's his turn!

Great pictures! I spotted the daffodils and tulips in the background too. How lovely!

Bugs and creepy crawlers are cool. :-) My girls love catching all sorts of critters too.

Thanks for stopping by for WW! :-)

Doubt the worm-aversion will last long with your son. All three of mine are pretty comfortable with things of the creepy crawly genus. Except for bees. #3 fears bees irrationally. Hopefully this won't last long either.

So cute! Ah, I remember the worms-and-flowers stage. It goes by so quick, lost to more mundane things ... :)

I don't blame her! Those are really long and they have those weird bands on them. Sick!

Beautiful photos! I'm on your son's side. I won't touch a worm. Never have and never will.
