Ultimate Blog Party 2010

Ultimate Blog Party 2010

This blog is filled
with children's books,
& some other posts,
be sure to look.
Don't just quickly
stop on by,
Spend some time --
browse & say, Hi!

Welcome to my Ultimate Blog Party post. Sorry about the awful poetry. It's my curious way of celebrating National Poetry Month and the Ultimate Blog Party. Brimful Curiosities is a blog sometimes about children's books and sometimes not (just letting you know in case you didn't read the subtitle). If you like children's books or other related media and educational materials, chances are you'll like this blog. Sometimes I go in other directions and talk about random things like tea parties, yogurt and bricks. I'm Janelle, a Christian mom to two young kids, and we do a lot of reading, crafting and exploring nature. I also compile the popular weekly Full to the Brim - Kid's Book Giveaway List every Friday. This is my 2nd year participating in the Ultimate Blog Party, and I've been blogging since September 2008. Want to correspond via twitter? Find me here: @iambrimful

I'm hoping to post a few new book related giveaways of my own next week, so make sure to check back then. If you have a minute, be sure to enter the newest Brimful giveaway or read some of my recent reviews:

10th anniversary edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling - Book Giveaway (Ends 4/26)

In my opinion, one can never have too many books. So, here are my top three favorite prizes at the 5 Minutes for Mom Ultimate Blog Party:
#88 — $25 E-Gift card to Provided by: Faith’s Firm Foundation
#55 – A $20 GC to Provided by: Mom of 2 Boys, Wife of 1
#31 – A $20 Amazon gift certificate. Provided by: Jennifer Sikora (For Such a Time as This)
or USC 25 -$25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card-online Provided by: Baba’s Farm Life

My son would love USC 42 – Choo, Choo Provided by: Milo’s Creations
My daughter would love USC 57 – children’s shoes from Eleven Collection! Provided by: Jamaise @ Wishing Penny

Actually there are several other great prizes listed at, and I'd be happy to win any of them, particularly if they apply to a book-loving mom with young kids. If you haven't already, consider participating in this year's party for your chance to win and network with other bloggers! And, thanks for taking the time to visit!
