The Great Outdoor Challenge - Nature Faces
What kind of fun outdoor activities do we have planned this week? Lots! Yesterday we made Nature Face Family. I found the Nature Face craft on the Ladybug Magazine website -- so simple, but so fun. Basically all you need to do is use some sidewalk chalk to draw a circle for the head. Then you wander around the yard and collect natural materials to use for filling in the face. I told the kids to avoid disturbing living plants (with the exception of weeds). Here's our nature faces family picture:

Love the faces! I keep meaning to do this one early morning with the kids and then I'd like to hide and watch people's reactions as they find the faces on their way to work!
