We decided to go all out with the school valentines and made special picture book themed Olivia the Pig heart pocket valentines. My daughter wrote out by hand all of her classmates names. And I bought candy, put some in the pockets and taped the cards shut. (Last year for preschool I didn't send candy...I didn't understand the new protocol. No one gave out candy when I was little, just valentines. Times change, apparently.)

The Olivia printable is from the Nick Jr. website: http://www.nickjr.com/printables/olivia-valentine-stickers.jhtml
We made handprint valentines for the grandparents after I saw them shown on Silly Eagle Books. We also made one for my daughter's teacher and wrote, "You're Hands Down the Best Teacher Around!"
Yes, we love crafting valentines!
