Wordless Wednesday - Our Geodesic Dome

Saw the Geodesic Dome structure instructions featured in the Sept 09 FamilyFun Magazine and couldn't resist making one of our own! Fun way to recycle a pile of old newspapers. Requires 100 full-size sheets of newspaper and a bit of patience!

That looks like a cute idea. Put a blanket over it and my son would be totally happy!

You have A LOT of patience. I could never do that. Very cool idea though. Thanks for sharing and happy WW! Take care.

That's one of the best ideas for recycling I've seen! Love it!

I admire your patience in a MAJOR way... and I'm pretty sure my son will be on his own (someday) with a project this size :)

That looks like so much fun. This is an odd comparison, but our cats have a toy like that.

Thanks for stopping by my MWW post!

That's awesome! I'll have to dig up my magazine to find the "how to's". My girls would love to make that!

Happy WW!

Cool construction! I see from your banner that you love children's books - me too! Used to read and READ to my boys when they were little, and have a huge shelf of my favorites upstairs!

You did a wonderful job... I don't think I would be able to get half way though before Wee Man was fighting pirates or Lil Kiwi crumbling the tubes of paper..

Yours looks great! wow :-) The shape without an entrance (like ours) is so satisfying, isn't it.
