During an evening shower two weeks back we found this toad outside our front door. He/She had better stay away. My daughter's life goal is to become a princess. I'm sure kissing a frog/toad has crossed her mind.

Wow that thing is HUGE!!
Oh, and please don't think I'm a bad mom...my daughter wasn't really drinking a whole mug full of coffee...she tries to fill her cup and winds up with a little trickle...
ewww no way!
that is one BIG toad
Very cute...sneaking a book into your WW! In our house, princesses aren't allowed to kiss toads until they get married ;).
Great picture. The frog on those rocks looks great!
Nice shot of the toad. thanks for the book recommendation.
How cute! We have two ponds close to us so there are tons of frogs around here and they make a racket in the summer.
I haven't heard of that book, but I will check it out for sure. It will pair nicely with the new Disney movie coming out this fall. Just hope my girls don't get any ideas about kissing toads! lol
Happy WW!
That is so lumpy and warty looking and HUGE!
I have totally kissed toads. We used to catch them all summer long where I grew up. :) Cute!!
Now that is one really cute toad! I can see where your daughter would be tempted to kiss him! LOL! Hopefully she actually won't!
Be sure to stop by Roads to Learning for my special back-to-school giveaway during the month of September!
That would be so cute if she tried to kiss it!....if it makes me a princess, I might give it a shot!
Quite the warty looking thing! LOL!
Oh My I don't think it'll turn into a prince as much as case of froggy lips. Yuck! But my Meg would probably try the same thing, she's no fear of bugs or amphibians. ;-)
Frogs are such interesting creatures. Great pic!
This would be the time to lie and say that toads spread warts. (Not that I would ever tell my little one that, lol)
How can you be sure unless you try it? I guess I'll always be left wondering!
Cool pic! What a huge frog.
how sweet. I wish it were true.
Whata big toad....!!! and thanks for the book recomendation..
He's huge! We'll have to look for that book :D
That is a very cute frog in an extremely ugly way. Lol
LOL, No way could I bring myself to kiss a frog now, but maybe I would have when I was young. Kids will try most anything.
Yikes that is one big toad! My son would love to catch that little guy. LOL
